With a warm and customary ‘Namaste’ at the beginning of every lesson, the Half Day students embark on their journey into the colourful and exciting world of Hindi. Set within a challenging and fun environment, the Primary Years Hindi Programme is designed to instill a positive attitude and joy towards learning India’s national language and to be open minded towards gaining a balanced and meaningful insight into the manifold nature of Indian culture.

Activities are designed at individualized levels based on the prior knowledge that students bring with them as well as their pace of learning. Different aids such as puzzles, toys, games, puppets and visuals, including film clips, are used to offer a stimulating environment and to expose the students to a range of accents and Hindi speaking voices. Another integral part of Hindi lessons are rhymes and songs that expand basic vocabulary and enrich the learning experience.

Join our Half Day students through the video below to experience their journey of learning Hindi as an additional language. It was a very colourful and enriching language learning experience indeed!
